This update describes the status of the CMP as of April, 2010.  In summary, the January 2010 Quarterly Report has been posted, field sampling was completed for the April 2010 event on April 8, 2010, and laboratory analysis is ongoing for this event.  The April 2010 Sampling Event was the 23rd operational event and the 45th quarterly event overall. 

Field

Field sampling began April 5, 2010 and ended April 8, 2010.  The next sampling event is tentatively scheduled to commence in mid-July, 2010.

Laboratory Analysis

Analysis is ongoing for the April, 2010 samples.

Perimeter Monitoring Network

PMN air sampling has ended for the April, 2010 Sampling Event and validated results will be reported in the April Quarterly Report.

PMN air sampling for the July, 2010 Sampling Event has commenced.

Data Validation

PMN air data packages for the April, 2010 Sampling Event are being prepared for validation.

Data packages with the April, 2010 non-air sample results will be validated after analysis is complete.

Reports Under Preparation

The April, 2010 Quarterly Report will be prepared once validation is completed.

Reports Submitted to Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.

The January, 2010 Quarterly Report was submitted to the DEQ in early April, 2010.
